Pet-equette

Please be a good neighbor and remember that your dog must be on a leash on your walks through our lovely subdivision.  Some people perceive dogs in ways that may differ from your own, so even a friendly dog running up to them is very distressing. Even the most well trained dog can lose it on occasion.

Rule of thumb:

If a pet is not enclosed, it must be on a leash.

Also, please remember to pick up after your pooch each time they do their business.  We especially don’t want dogs relieving themselves in areas where children play, because that could lead to some potentially unhealthy  situations.  What’s more, dogs can pick up illnesses from other dog’s feces, and can attract rodents who feed on pet waste.

No matter how small the mess, it needs to be picked up.  Thanks!

To those looking to allow their dogs off lead, there are two great dog parks really close to Grassy Pointe:

A.L. Anderson Park
Located at U.S. HWY. 19 N., Tarpon Springs, FL 34689

Live Oak Dog Park
Locatedon Live Oak St. near the corner of Safford Avenue.

Pitbull Terriers:

Pitbull Terriers are prohibited from living in our community per Section 2.07. Please report any residents who own pitbulls to the HOA Board or Community Manager. This is a safety issue which has resulted in harm to other animals and humans.
